You would anyway choose a plastic or metallic or even wooden blind over to anything else just for the mere cut edge look it offers to your room. However as is said, beauty comes at a price. The price paid here is probably the labor spent behind cleaning the blind or rather the slats separately.
Venetian blinds tend to accumulate dust very easily and hence needs regular cleaning to maintain the attractive look. There might be two ways of cleaning it. You can soak the slats in detergent or vinegar and then dip the entire blind in the bathtub and clean it properly under running water. You can however also clean the Venetian blinds with some old rag or sock to clean the sock. However you should definitely stick to the manufacturer’s advice about what materials to be used for cleaning it and the process prescribed should be carefully noticed. Using wrong cleaning ingredients can actually spoil the entire blind making it unsuitable for further usage. Thus be careful when you clean your blind.
