As I said bamboo floors are very hard. They are harder than red oak and maple, even. They are also very strong and resilient. The first step to do is cut the stems of bamboo. These stems are then divided into steaks. These fillets are then flattened to produce very thin strands of bamboo. Bamboo strands are woven together with resin and are subjected to strong pressure. The quality of the resin used in the binding of the bamboo stems together matters a lot.
